Synergy – 30th November 2016
Thimna Khuse, Mbasa Volwana and Brandon Lombard from HTS Bellville have written this rap. These talented students used the word synergy as their inspiration. The school has instituted a programme called ‘The Leader in Me’ based on Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.‘Synergy’is the 6th Habit.

Difficulty of running a school in a gang affected Lavender Hill – 28th October 2016
This is a conversation with Andre Lamprecht, principal of Levana Primary School based in Lavender Hill. The school is currently literally under fire from rival gangs. Teachers have been fired at and a worker injured. Classes are continually having to take cover under desks.
